The Salmon River Lighthouse & Marina is committed to the accommodation of all visitors and guests, regardless of physical ability or disability and consistent with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.   We offer handicap accessible facilities for guests with special needs, including public space access to our marina store and public restroom.   We offer lodging that accommodates guests utilizing a wheelchair or that may have other special needs.   We reserve designated parking with extra space for a wheelchair van next to our marina building and can make other special arrangements for close-in parking to other activities on site (boat launch, lighthouse visit, etc.).  Note that the natural beauty afforded by our proximity to the Salmon River and Lake Ontario, along with the historic nature of our buildings (the Selkirk Lighthouse is now over 180 years old!) makes it difficult to ensure the safety and comfort of guests with certain disabilities without knowing those specific needs.   We encourage you to call us so that we can work to customize your accommodation, to make you welcome and help you fully enjoy your visit in every way.   We will also accept bookings beyond the reservation window limits of our website if you have a disability that can be best accommodated in one particular cottage versus another and desire to book in advance.
